I Don’t Get It. nor do you. Whatever it is you’ don’t get. It'll be okay. Time heals everything  ---- LONG LOST FEELING----

- I’m playing video games when I hear crying. I play through it. The crying intensifies. I start to get worried. I wonder what it could be now, I just helped her 10 minutes ago. I start to think to myself why, as I walk down the stairs while I get closer to the crying. I see her sitting in her wheelchair, facing towards the table, crying and shaking terribly. I go over to the table, and see her juice all spilled, paper towels everywhere, and her breakfast half eaten. I say “It’s okay, it’s just juice, I can get you some more” as I start to wipe up the juice and the paper towels. My mom, is still wailing.

I can hear her sniffling, and lightly weeping, while I pour the glass of juice. I give her the juice. She is trembling like crazy. Damn MS. Who would’ve ever thought that MS could go this far? We didn’t. But as time goes on and on things get worse with her body, but my mind gets stronger. It gets stronger by accepting. The sooner you accept things in your life, good or bad, you will gain a sense patience in your life. For me it was my mom. I have to accept the face she has MS, and that I won’t grow up with your typical caring mom. I told myself that things were going to be hard, and they were, but I persevered with the patience I gained through the hardships.

If you asked me what I think you can do in your everyday lives to be just a little more happy and understanding of others, I would say stop Judging. Everyone has a story, a background that they came from. Every background is different, some are worse than what I explained, that’s why it is crucial not to have prejudice. Don’t be the person to act different to people because you think they are a certain way. Be yourself and have an open mind. BE ACCEPTING! BE WILLING to do things for people and not yourself. You will feel a sense of gratitude, and want to help more.

Peace and Love

-Joe
