The Mountain Meadow

Below icy tops
some yellow and red petals
herald a new spring.

I want to put each piece of those haiku on a magic white paper and turn them into a great Monet. You are filling that white paper for us. Each dot, each stroke, each color at one time and bring Spring you see to all. That is amazing. I hope you don't stop painting it till Spring ends.

You make me blush. Thank you so much for your kind comment. I think I will be writing haiku for a long time to come, I love creating them, and nature is often quite an inspiration. Besides, I am a great fan of Japanese haiku, although, I have to read them in Dutch or English, and they are mostly about nature, so I try to write my haiku about nature as often as I can.

Thanks Tom, I guess I should follow your good example a bit more often. Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks Mike. Somehow, I just keep cranking them out. If I believed in reincarnation, I'd think I must have been Japanese in a previous life. The form really agrees with me.
