Just in case you didn't know, the 9/11 attack almost two decades ago was done by Muslims. That has apparently lead the the idea, that Muslims are all terrorists. Before you read this any further, watch he video above, please, so you'll understand what I'm talking about.

I personally don't remember 9/11, mostly because I was one, but it's a big deal, I get it. Although, I really don't, because I'm not American, and c'mon, it has been years, why does it have to be such a big deal every year? If you think I'm ignorant, then it's whatever, because why does that get so much media attention eac year and other things don't? How about the fact that it lead to the war on terror, which the Iraq War was a part of, for example. That caused over 100 000 civilian casualties, but does the US ever mention this? No. Instead, they grief over the few thousand people that died because, some people did something.

I get that Trump isn't a fan of Muslims, but if Ilhan Omar says that "some people did something", then she can say that. She doesn't have to be specific about the fact that they were Muslims. The fact that she's a Muslims doesn't mean she approves of the 9/11 attacks. She never said so. Saying that some people did something is correct, as there were people who did some things. She didn't go into specifics and she didn't have to.

This is also something Trump should look in the mirror about. Wasn't he the one who was happy about his building being the tallest in Manhattan after the WTC towers had fallen? Wasn't he the one who lied that Muslims were dancing when the attacks were made? How about just saying you're sorry for the loss and not bragging about your building instead?

Or how about the fact that Trump is ignoring the Muslims community? When the Mosques in New Zealand were attacked, he sent his sympathy and best wishes to them. Seriously? Best wishes? That's what you say when you send a card from your vacation to a friend, not something that you say when people have died. He did say it was in the Mosques, but he could've been a proper human being and said he feels ba for the actual Muslim community around the world that is suffering. And once again, he doesn't acknowledge the people who did it, not even as some people.

Ilhan Omar is a controvercial person, for sure, but she has some good points. She has been labeled an antisemitist, because of her remrks about the Israel-Palestine conflict. I understand it's easy to think people are antisemites if they don't approve of the Israeli government, especially in the US, which is technically BFFs with Israel, but she is right. Their actions on the Palestinians are unfair, and it should be okay to criticize those actions.

I personally was very happy to find out there were going to be Muslim women in the government after the elections last year. With a president like Trump, who has banned several Muslim countries from even flying to the US, it's not a surprise he's that anti-Muslim. I feel like the fact that Omar wears a hijab is great, because she's obviously just respecting her culture and religious freedom, which is stated in the US constitution. If someone thinks she's a terrorist because of her religion, then they obviously are too ignorant to even find out what Islam is about. She's strong enough to speak her mind and talk about even the hard issues like the Israel problem, but just because of her religion, she gets labeled a terrorist. Why?

I just want to ask, if the person speaking in the video Trump tweeted, were a white male, would he have tweeted it? Or if it were, then the video probably wouldn't even exist.
