While it is okay to criticize work on its grammar and structure, opinions should be able to be freely expressed. If you don't like them, don't comment, or write your own point of view. DO NOT make personal attacks on other members; that is not what Booksie is about.

Freedom Of Speech.

We all have the right to express our views in our writing, so long as it abides by Booksie policy of being legal. It should, of course, also be suitable for all members; adult content can be posted at Booksie Silk.

There are members with all kinds of ideologies, following all kinds of religions and philosophies. Everyone is entitled to put their opinions in to their content, and not to be personally criticised for doing so.

What is not okay is for people to use comments to criticise the writer for holding or expressing their feelings. If you know you are not going to like something, don’t read it. If you disagree with the content of a post, write your own, expressing your point of view.

Targetting writers for their own beliefs is not permitted on Booksie. Attacking writers for no other reason than you do not like their views is not permitted on Booksie. You can of course point out that you do not agree, but do not make it an attack on a personal level.

You want to voice your views, the opportunity is there, but again, no targetting of fellow members in the content, please.

Booksie’s success is very much down to its community spirit, and as such, respect and tolerance are essential for it to thrive. As in any community, you will find people whose views differ from your own; choose to read or not, choose to write or not, but do not put other writers down.
