And with what is a whisper through the cosmic waves of space and time, he shouted his love out. To him, it was a ghost he talked to, the ghost of her. A ghost that haunted him like death haunts life. A ghost of a love he had to keep reviving from the brink of death, Unable to let this love die. This love he believed crept throughout all of time, and yeah maybe he was crazy, maybe he drove himself there. To a place where only he understood himself. But at least he stood for something he was willing to die for. At the least this love that drove him crazy, also filled him with enough fire to be passionate about fully living. At the least then he lived a full life, only because of the love he didn't let die. Although he couldn't now, maybe one day he would let it die, he would let it die with words that told their story from his eyes.
But while this love helped him grow. To her, his shouts of love were screams to her heart and she was haunted too. By a ghost-love that reminded her of a past she didn't want to remember. To her his existence was a reminder of her broken heart. A heart at one point she wanted him to heal but that he couldn't. He wasn't the love she needed him to be when she needed his love most, so she let her love for him die. And now to her, his love is an empty room, a room nonetheless.
But still an empty room that he brought a couch into and she, a blow torch.
And this young lad is the story of their love. Whether this story of ghost-love goes anywhere, well you’ll have to read to find out.
