Real life and real people struggle. Everybody says they’re okay, how many of us actually are?

I am. Really. I didn’t used to be

It took a long time and a large fee

Words were dead when I felt like death

In a way they still are without your breath

All I am is a speck of sand

Carrying worlds of existential demand

I just want to slip through time and space

Stop being and melt my face

But I still stop to tie my shoelace

And I lift my hands to sing your praise

I know life

I know strife

What is the validation of this nation?

Is this condemnation at this station?

Are we obsessed or are we possessed?

This is great! It flows well while also portraying the sting feelings attached to it. Well done, mate!
