I hope time passes slowly,
That this euphoria takes its time and lingers a while
Before being submerged back into the insecurities, the doubts
Clouded by darkness and negativity.
I long for this bliss
Where my soul is at peace
And my troubles are frivolous at best
Nothing to impede all of the love I have for you,
For my friends,
For this world
A mind cleansed before the dawn
A warmth seeming to ripple from my very body
My eyes witnessing a transcendence into another reality
The vividness is blinding
But the love, the peace,
It's intoxicating.
And when it's time for it to fade,
Perhaps my mind will be renewed
And I will breathe again the fresh air
Before it becomes stale from indifference.

Lovely written! It is great to have a friend who is a muse and can write with you or inspire you. I had that kind of euphoria experience too, really intoxicating.

Indeed it is! When that kind of inspiration hits, it's exhilarating. You know that person has changed your life for the better, and it's a great feeling to not feel alone in this world. Thank you again for reading!
