this poem is about the (negative) meaning of life!

poem explanation(spoiler alert!! ):
-when I said "turning them from invisible to visible..." it doesn't mean that they literally turned invisible! but that the person in front of them couldn't see them anymore (because their eyes turned numb!) which made them invisible {and they could be also affected by the numbness them selfs}
-at the end of the poem when I say "they awake!"
as in awake from the dream which is life in the poem (life is but an empty dream)
means that they died! (:(

"The sand journey"

Life is a journey

a journey of time.

accompanied by a nameless sadness,

that numbed mens eyes.

filing the lonely hearts with strain,

and like a plant that can wither,

without sun and rain,

the numbness turned then to pain.

slowly turning them from invisible to visible and back to unseen!

life is a journey.

a funeral march to the grave.

as we depart leaving behind us,

footprints on the sand of time.

and if a brief wind would find us,

our footprints would easily be gone!

realizing life is but an empty dream,

turns those numbed eyes dim gray!

days come and go, the journey ends, destination reached.

they lay down with eyes closed,

the dimness finally vacates.

and for the first time...they awake!
