The first poem of a series I am writing, influenced by my twin flame and love.

Green: Poem One

Green was never my favorite color.

It was always associated with plants,

vegetables, money, and spew.

But now. Now. Green is a color that

brings in my early mornings and

passionately closes my nights.

Green is a color of so many hues.

The one I view is sometimes like

perfect natural emeralds with flashes

of yellow.

Green is the gaze that highlights my

face.

Green is a stare that follows my

every pace.

What did I do to deserve such a

beautiful color of royalty and grace?

What have I done to reinforce such

an emphatic act?

Green, oh, green you have brought

such intensity to an almost lost

endeavor.

Green you have caused me such a

clamor.

Green this is in your honor.

Green is the color of our Mother Nature. Very good that you speak out for it. Good poem.
