Early morning and we wake from our reverie.
Romantic we were for all to witness but none
to approve of.
So much time has prohibited the union of our
love and mating.
Clever were the words that fell out the
naysayers’ mouths.
Phoning in rumors, lies and upends.
Resolute are we, the lovers of old and new
again.
Persuading you that I am and always have
been has been the hardest thing.
We are more than what cherries have been
picked.
Completing the half circle that came from
eons of prophetic doctrine.
Frying and branding into time and space the
actuality of what will always be comprehended.
Making what was bitter in idea, sweeter in
attentive action.
Grabbing from history what never could be
dead. Excluding ancestors and myth of
forgotten lands.
Living together to build and trade, what was
destroyed and never contained.
Early is it yet, to tell what the future will
bring.
Whether bumpy events or loss of what were
friends.
As we fall deeper into our adoration and our
domain, let us gift ourselves with faith that
will forge not only trust but a new revolution
of love and upstanding hope.
