5 c's of successful marriage

the first c is calendar. couples need to block out time exclusively for each other. no friends, no family. just the two of you.

the second c is communication. sharing both feelings and thoughts. people frequently admit they need other friends because they found someone else who would talk to them and listen to them.

the third c is caring. the more effort you put into meeting each other's needs, the less likely either of you will go outside the marriage to get your needs met.

the fourth c is courtship. i see too many spouses forgetting the romance of marriage. they stop being affectionate and sensitive to each other. invariably, the neglected mate gets angry and begins to shut down.

the fifth c is commitment. well if you need to ask ...

love is a triangle.
a. romance which is extreme physical, emotion, and thinking all mixed together.
b. emotion which is how we deal with the reality of life's up and downs. sad and happy which influences both spouses by their mood.
c. intellectual or logical thinking processes. are we on the same page or negotiating or flat out arguing over ideology, write or wrong, good or bad. how should we do that? why not? why? that is really smart or stupid.
