While

the rest

of us were

loading the rest

of her stuff into

the truck, I saw Maggie

sitting and looking out of

a window with this sad look on

her face which made me walk over to my

kid sister, place a gentle hand on her

shoulder and say that what happened to

Greg during the Gulf War was not

her fault and that death is a

part of life and life goes

on which in turn made

her smile at me

before we

had our

hug.
