Please let us rescue you
Can’t you see us in the shadows
Savior complex- nothing we can’t do
Let’s go to work-and the smoke billows
We are at your service
We need you to need us
Let us soak up the demons on your surface
Fan our own flames in our inner circus
Sitting here in withdrawal I ache
These lungs burn for what kills
Your trustful eyes glimmer for your own sake
Spending my soul like credit without bills
