Just as they were about

to step inside their new

house, Brian touched Jessica

on the shoulder and said,

"Hold on for a little bit. Okay?"

"Hold on for what?", was

what a confused Jessica

had asked before Brian

picked her up and carried

her across the threshold.

"On second thought, never

mind.", was what Jessica

said to Brian with a giggle

before his mom came in

with two bags of groceries.

"Hi, Brian. I see that you

have your hands full.", was

what Brian's mom said before

she started to put the stuff

that she brought in away.
