A burning sensation grips Jonathan's mind. What he did was unforgivable. For that, he must go.

Ding dong. Please clear the doors.

A whiff of the cool, morning breeze ruffles his hair. The stench emanating from his clothes reminds him once again.

Ding dong.

Considering the track record of the United States Postal Service, he has maybe 3 days at the most to skedaddle. Won't be enough time.

Ding dong.

Glares are felt on his person. He only can look at his luggage and shrug.

“Its my wife, see,” says Jon to no one in particular, “she's nursing our little one.”

“Attention, please clear the doors.”

Its a lie, there's no one coming. Who would? Maybe a pretty journalist will take pity on him with a sympathetic smile.

Ah, the smile.

The smile that can break a man or restore his worth in life.

“Would you get on already?!”

No note will be found. Jon just found it in his backpack after taking his seat.

Train delay, just perfect. Maybe his boss will wave it off as a joke? Oh who's kidding who here.

Jon finds his stamps as well.

Hope no one opens the package...
