Fine white wine
Tangled red twine
Where is the sand, and how thick is the line?
Our days unfurling like a Novel's unbinding
Each page a loose leaf on the sea of existence
Our stories are known by the readers' reminding
Gradually aging and losing persistence

A white wine tasting
Hosts no especial haste-ing
How do you justify the time that you're wasting?
What's been written need only be referenced
Each new passage ought bring a new twist
The crumpled past need not be shown deference
As what's behind us does not exist

Tangled currant thread
Ties grueling social dread
What's the use in befriending the dead?
Within and without, all plots are connected
Take a wild leap and you'll be more content
Than leaving your options unknown and dejected
Accepting our stories is life's cruelest rent
