Living, in a way, as opposed to public policy

I had been eking out my livelihood by plucking the rare herbs from this government herbal garden.Previously there used to be only a dilapidated compound wall and an ever sleeping watchman to protect these rare variety of herbs.I simply used to pluck some of them stealthily by jumping through the compound wall.Once my gunny bag was full with herbs, I used to travel to a far away place,at least not less than  50 km away from the Government herbal garden and sold the herbs for a hefty sum.I used to change my selling avenues frequently so as to avoid me being noticed by others.

Somebody must have closely watched the decreasing number of herbal plants or just leafless stems.

I was shocked when the government came forward to build a very high concrete compound wall whose top was over guarded with sharp broken pieces of glass.

Despite the hurdles of the high compound wall I managed to step inside the herbal garden.

To my surprise, I saw yet another closely knlt wire fence, through which I struggled even to stretch my hand fully in the result of which I could not even touch a herbal leaf.

For the first time, I self pitied myself for my inability to pluck any herbal leave.I cursed myself for being a thief of herbal leaves.

This new compound wall and the wire fencing, forced me to give up my career as a herbal thief and switched over to another decent profession as a green leaves seller in the vegetable market.

Now I realized whatever might be your way of life,it would end up one day rather unceremoniously, if it was immoral and against public policy.
