21 (Narrative)

21 with a child in her belly and one on her hips

1 pair of Secret eyes staring at her

Those haunted eyes Draining me, following me

Delighted with all the skeletons in his closet

He tells me he doesn’t love me

He wants a divorce; a blizzard chill precedes his words

It freezes me, pain can freeze you

Unthawed I blink, the baby in my belly

Kicks the baby on my hip

The small white and blue boat shaped teething ring falls

I step over it, grabbing my keys I leave everything I own

While taking everything I made with me.
