One thousand pulses per second,

A heart that still beats for me

Just like the universe is connected,

So are we.

For so long I withered

In this faded reality,

My heart embittered and shattered

diffusing in this galaxy.

After all these years Here I am standing,

I wasted my time dwelling in pain,

I hurt myself not understanding,

But I won’t do it again.

I hear the echo of a heart

That beats for me,

But I have fallen apart

From what I used to be...

That heart is a pulsar in the distance

I try to make sense

Of its Timeless existence.

I opened my eyes and looked around,

I stepped out and came forth,

I heard the sound

that reminds me that love is my worth.

I feel strangely delighted and at ease.

Certainly, I have not seen your face

But You have brought me that peace

And have surrounded me with your grace.

And again,

I hear the echo of heart

That beats for me

telling me:

“the universe is connected

And so are we.”
