I wish I could call
Tell you how I’m about to hit the wall
How I’m walking the edge of a knife
Tell you I’m making it through, alive
Tell you about the distractions I’ve found
How the world is still turning around
I want to tell you about the silly things I’ve have done
How I met someone
I want to tell you about him
How it all happened on a whim
How it is nothing serious, almost a game
Still, it stops me from being so goddamn lame
Doing things I never imagined I would
Things I never thought I could
But here I am, surviving and even living
Moving on and forgiving
Taking everything with a pinch of salt
Not getting my hopes up by default
