Evolution

In the beginning there was nothing,  a void
Then there was a thought, a word, meaning
From emptiness came the physical universe
All potential for future existence created

Life began survival dependent upon change
Future complexities foreseen in simplicity
Evolution brought forth and its fate assured
Time trivial, a second is like a million years

A day an eternity infinite possibilities pass
Creation laid bare in rock, a book to read
Who dares look within, is faith so weak
Lessons to learn, life moves on man awakens

A new being looking at the annals of history
Is man just a footnote in a wider existence
Only a part of the creation but as any parent
All children equally important to the Creator

Each creature in its own moment of life
The ultimate pinnacle to Gods creation
Only one thing is certain for the future
Change will come mans death is sure

Life’s cycle will continue never changing
Yet the players will be renewed eternally
Never again will there be nothing, a void
For once there is meaning it never fades
