The Train Station

The Hill Tribes make it unsafe to travel. They hunt in

packs around the railway station and its platforms. The

commuters are irritable, anxious, there is too much

adrenalin racing through their systems. They don't know

whether to flee or fight, they are caught inbetween the

two reactions.

They are in a constant state of panic. They have

become paranoid, victems of their own delusions,

hallucinations, and phobias.

The Hill Tribes roam in packs around the railway

station, dressed in colourful fancy head dresses

made from feathers and coins, gold and silver, and

bone.

The commuters try to run away from them but

remain frozen in a panic attack. They pray to the

signalman, but the signalman is of no use to

them now, he is lost in opium dreams, disembodied,

on some other planet.

" Why are the trains late today? " the commuters

ask themselves. " Why are those Hill Tribes letting

off detonators along the line? It sounds like war! "

  Yes, the commuters are shell-shocked.
