Mythos poem.

Wherefore Thy burden and Thy toil, O Alhazred?

Born up the steep of swirling darkness;

Thy cursed worlds bless Thee, who wert between the Stars,

Swift with evil speed of Yidhra the Lonely One;

And Earth mightily, dropped out of the sphere,

But Alas, now Thy did appear, Thy pulses run,

Swollen with fires of effort and discipline, Shalt Mnomquah

Now pass beside Thee, or the Suns of Aldebaran?

And hopest Thou to close with the Pentagram?

 

Alhazred, Thou and Nyagotha, Thy starrier friend,

Transcending Yog-Sothoth, strain ever, break free;

From the prison wherein Art we;

And with unequal speed, within the same

Black maze of Night and Time, where we shall reclaim victory;

Tho with a plot, no clues, the hollow heart,

Uncompassionated and oblivious, the Illuminati came...
