Cynthia works hard at her job as an investigator/fact checker. At first, she loved being sent around to various places to dig up the information needed for a case, however, when she finally realizes they are taking advantage of her because of her single status, the fun ends. On that same day, her life changes dramatically. She meets Cora Ann at a diner. With Cora Ann in her life, real happiness is possible.

A tour de force, in the tradition of Elizabeth Goudge, but one I do not have to reread to truly understand. The heart of the author revealed and placed before us for hard, cold but loving consideration.
Thank you for the few moments of grazing in your literary pasture...

A great story written by a professional writer imo.The imagery and characters were realistically down to earth and believable.
I was really hooked on this story from beginning to end.Although I have to say this isn't my first choice of genre to read I loved it.
You took my imagination to so many different places. It would seem it's not a crime to be ageist anymore.

That was such an awesome novelette. I love it. Barney's dad is such a cunt. And that waitress was a total bitch. Glad his dad got he deserved. He was an asshole. And his wife was a bitch. I knew that Barney and Cynthia would get together. I was hoping they would. Cynthia was the best thing that could ever happen to him. I'm glad that his diner became a success and that Barney and Cynthia are going to get married. I would suggest changing the intro to Cynthia was the best thing to happen to Barney.

Could you please read my story Bare Feet. That would be awesome.
