She went at an acceptable pace to the smoke shack.  She was really Jonesing for a drag on her Cinnabon flavored Vape. Becky was super excited that she had her evidence on her phone and that Darrin would be going down very soon.  Unless, that is if he agreed to her conditions.  Then, both he and she would live well.  Only his pride would be a little hurt for being bested by a maintenance worker.  She laughed a tiny squirt of pee thinking about it.

As she was patting herself on the back, rounding the entry of the smoke shack, she stopped in her tracks locking eyes with Darrin.  His dominance of the crowd was obvious. She wondered how many actually knew his more lucrative job and gave him respect only due to that status.  No one wanted to snitch and die.  A ton of good people had talked about the potential for the plant to be a cartel presence. But not one in their right minds every pointed it out.

Becky couldn’t wait to be challenged herself.  Darrin was going down if he was stupid.  If not, she would profit royally from doing nothing but being a good piece of ass when his wife failed.

That’s what she was banking on.  YMCA gave her a tight body for literally charity.  She showed no income so she could benefit for free on everyone else’s tax dollars.  Taxes were for suckers as far as she was concerned. If you were stupid enough to show a profit you deserved to be raped of your 40%.  She wasn’t going to pay that shit on her current low check, nor was she gonna pay when Darrin came though with his hush money.

“Beck, where the hell you been.” Slurred Drew obviously drunk as hell but missing the random this morning.

“Oh, here and there.” She confessed.

“What the hell was Cecil doing? Last minute grading the crops out back?  Who the hell thought he was smart enough to pull that off?”

“I didn’t talk with him.” She responded nervously wondering if they’d noticed her sneaking behind the sludge tanks.

“O.K., Baby, said her soon to be suiter. You guys leave her the hell alone. Got it?”  said Bev a built guy from several miles out of their zip code.

Though they didn’t respect her they knew disrespect equaled pain. No one else breathed a word in her direction. Save compliments until she walked out to seek out toward Darrin's office.
