Creators often die before their creation

Biologically engineered to meet end first

If our deities can die with emancipation

What suggests a rise from the dirt?

What if they all died long ago?

Leaving us to create and protect in their shadow?

Have we failed or delivered?

Others left sliced and slivered

Have we lived up to expectation?

Living as they willed and intended?

Readily awaiting fate in anticipation

Hoping what is left can be mended

Spines, frameworks and mystical designs

False worship and terror polluting minds
