Love, let’s run away together to the place of infinite beginnings and a point of no return; far from industrialization, far from the million working engines. Hurry, let’s get on the last moving train, let’s grab the one way ticket from places that are titled regret, shame, fear of the unknown, fear of the new.

Let’s remember and relive that dream we both had when we were no more than eight. It’s a bit like a movie scene during the editing process, black and white and slow-motion and as if through a Polaroid objective. There, we’re chasing each other on a foggy night, playing tag you’re it and splashing waves on each other, as our laughter resembles tiny bells ringing in the distance; our moves are like that of a rapid, long-legged, almost lightweight fawn playing by the shore. We might not have known each other, or of each other then, but we imagined it all so clearly.

Let’s disappear forever to a place where I will make you honey lemon tea, sing you to sleep and listen to your voice as if it was the melody of the ocean. I am not sure what my element is, maybe you can help me decide? But I know for sure yours is the sea; your eloquence and grandeur, your wisdom and your force all united in one. Or it is the forest - mysterious, hiding many legends and trails within?

Our fields - or shall I say fields that belong to the whole universe, not to two humans alone - will be covered in wildflowers of all kinds. There is the placid evening primrose, and there is the wild iris, growing near the river, moonlit and quick. We will tie lavenders into braids, make tiny bouquets of wheat and wildflowers, and fall into the grass, midnight dew on our eyelashes; oh, love, if only we could run away together...
