Diana was pretty,

A real princess.

Not just a little bitty,

More like a watercress--

Green and eatable,

Well-bred, not  a fable.

Universally known,

Her love was deeply shown.

A smile that could knock a boxer out,

Beautifully slim, not stout.

Her blue eyes sometimes looked green,

So warm and serene.

She was a real angel,

Just looking at her, you could tell.

An angel is not like a human being,

We see, and yet what are we seeing?

We can't explain it at all,

She was a hit at every ball.

Now I know that she's not dead,

In the crash, she didn't hurt her head.

I could tell you where she is right now,

But that would cause a big row.

At the moment she is angry,

Things should have gone better.

But she'll let it be,

'Cos not everything works by the letter.

She was with me on the Catamaran,

Sailing to Rotterdam.

Sitting there next to me,

I stayed cool, played it easy.

Then I asked, ''Where do you reside?''

She said to me, ''Amsterdam.

Way on the other side,

Then I had to catch my tram.
