It’s the same night sky, just on opposite sides,

Do you see what I see? What’s your weather like?

If you miss me like I miss you, then sense my vibes,

Sent them up into the stars, look for my zodiac sign up there.

Trapped inside of a looking glass, but this time I don’t mind,

If the skies are clear for you too, can you identify the planets?

Start at the moon and look east, Jupiter is somewhere over there,

On the summer night sky, I’ll paint you a picture on this blank canvas.

If you’re up as late as I am, you’ll see venus too, right around twilight,

It’s a crescent moon tonight, so it won’t steal the show this time.

Switched the clocks to astronomical time, I had the foresight,

Cause in the mesosphere, birthing sunlight reveals noctilucent clouds.

I don’t know if you’re aware, but these are too faint to see in daylight,

Just a little light from below the horizon, reflects off the ice crystals.

When we’re watching the same sights, I feel a lot less distant,

I found the yin and yang fish, swimming somewhere in the stars.

I can’t take you up there, not physically, but I can within my mind,

Cause you’ve carried me before, and this time you’ll  sit on my shoulders.

It’s the natural order of life, that shit’s gonna change, as we get older,

And yet this sight stays familiar, there’s stability inside of the cosmos.

It’s the same night sky, just on opposite sides,

Do you see what I see? What’s your weather like?

If you miss me like I miss you, then sense my vibes,

Sent them up into the stars, look for my zodiac sign up there.
