Pretty self explanatory. We don’t have poison oak in Hawaii. Spent last week clearing a fence line, got it on my clothes, apparently, and on my arms when I loaded the laundry. So it goes.

Poison Oak

Unfortunately

I believe I have discovered

The joys of poison oak

In a load of laundry

Of all places

Unfortunately

This is not a joke

Although this is purely speculation

As I have no comparison

On which to base this

Unfortunately

Where I hail from you see

We don’t have this

Vicious vegetation

Which attacks a hapless home owner

Trying to domesticate a forest

Unfortunately

Clawing through my own flesh

I cannot describe the elation

Of muscles veins and sinew

Torn and shredded

Yes unfortunately

How unfortunate

For me
