The thread of life is long and weaving, the rope is not yet made to cut

there is a grand adventure waiting—a door Atropos has not shut.

The fates are no masters of man, our time is long and yet unknown,

we live each day to find the other grander than the one last sewn.

Clotho has not yet spun her last, the sun long scorches in the sky,

the stars have not burned out this night nor withered in a hollow cry.

The thread is dancing in the night, the moon a flickering bright

that dares the three dreadful Sisters to dim the boldened light.

Our lives are not splendid mistakes, each breath we draw with reborn wonder,

to hear the thousand voices whisper words of gentle, terror, thunder.

But their voice is not their own and one day they shall cease to speak,

so we march onward with courage through the lonely and the bleak.

We walk through hollow nights of darkness for we long to escape,

but on this journey, we must struggle so our lives, they make take shape.

For this adventure may-at times-shift from fright to light and tears,

but in the end, we gaze to see a web of wonders or withered years.
