Years from now, historians will look at this moment in our history and say, "No wonder their country collapsed, they had a delusional president." I wonder what they'd think as they try to make sense of something we can't make sense of. How could this have happen here? It must be what Germans are still asking after the rise of Adolph Hitler, unfathomable. They'll realize Hitler was an extreme example, true, but basically, it's the same nightmare scenario playing out. Trump's trying to erode public trust in anything but what he says. He's a man that believes he's on a par with The Almighty. He has a pathological need to be admired by everyone, but his actions and words are having the opposite effect for many, he's loathed.

When the history of his administration is recorded in the history books, he'll be remembered by most as an abomination, a man so incompetent it's unbelievable, someone so totally corrupt, so lacking in empathy, knowledge, and so self-absorbed it's incredible, became president. Let's just hope it's not the beginning of the end of our grand experiment.
