I feel like a can

That’s going to explode

So full of pent up emotions

That nobody knows

For I feel I’ve been silenced

But I don’t know,  why?

I’ve been busy being a cool,mum

A chilled laid back, “right back atcha” mum.

Advantages have been taken

By my daughter,

In her behaviour she has become,

Far from excellent

For I cannot remember when she was last nice to me, thought of me

Or spoke without wanting of me.

So no more shall I stand in her firing line

Its time to take cover and retreat

For she will not be given the satisfaction of my defeat.
