A feeling arises within me,

Like a kitten's purr,

Quiet and whispering,

My veiled passions spur;

Like an lion's roar,

Loud and deafening,

Where bold emotions soar;

Like a prisoner's soul,

Lonely and unyielding,

Only real freedom could console.

---

When the feeling arises within me,

I learn to let it go, let it be,

Let all my feelings break free,

And let them stretch to the golden horizon,

To touch sea, touch tree, and touch thee.

When that feeling comes like a dove,

For no reasons, day or night,

Happily I smile, I laugh and I love.

A feeling I couldn't quite figure out yet,

But it's a pleasure on life that I in awe of.

---

Life may be cold and dark,

But there is always a vital spark.

You may feel you are a lonely star,

But you are a diamond shining from afar.

When that feeling comes like a dart,

Try to adore all aspects of life with your heart.

I figure that feeling is admiration, is love

With it dissolving all difficulties is enough.

Above all ills, gloom and woe

Is a blue sky of kindness and beauties

that simply can make you "Whoa!"
