The day falls away

All city beams with light

I really want to stay

And I might

But the implicit

Demand for proof

Kills me slowly

Was my love so weak?

The day falls away

And the dusk comes settling

My heart beams away

And my happiness

No longer provides me cover

Worries- they hover

My mind sink in blasphemy

My body sinks in this melancholy

And I start to fall apart

But just then

I hear the tunes

Shingle with all might

Saying loud and about

Stay alive

Tha day falls away

All of them

Come to my mind

My parents who

Call me a mime

And it's for them I shine

In the darkest night and

In the hardest storms

And I hear them telling me

To shine again

Past this shallow mine

I gather every

Spark in me

Soul left in me

And walk

Walk through every

Nail and crack

Every storm and knack

And I won't stop

I won't die

And the night will fall away

And a new day will Dawn

And I will wake up

Yet again with a yawn
