Could I lose another day
Any other way
I say
This is the light that fades
Before my eyes I find
That things could turn from white
To a darkness which resides
In the far back of my mind
Sagatious yet lacking emotion
I find no other motion
To fight this empty void and ocean
This love I lost to erosion
I fall before my own

It seems unrealistic
To call myself artistic
While I find myself illiterate
While speaking of the illicit
And explicit
Or thinking of my vivid imagination
Objective art is not of my creation
But dare I say that I am an artist
To those who like assistance
Forgetting what is fatalistic
Or those in search of a different world
So that they can let their minds untwirl
From the tangled mess of reality
Or the gravity
Of something they had done
To run
The inescapable truth that
The life they live is done
That pain cannot be stopped
Unfortunately I cannot
Take what has been given
But I can give something
To cover up the drop
So that it causes a little less
Of the same painful rain

Prism Persona

Wow! That is deep and I like that. There is so much to think about and many must sort through a cluttered and confused mind, not to mention ever spiraling emotions. An excellent and thoughtful work. I also like the way you rhymed everything and still it makes sense. Keep it up!
