We have walled ourselves from the subject of Help for a very very long time. Is Help possible? Is another topic, along with Happiness, I am interested in. We can all have a skeptical attitude about Help. But to me, a real help is possible.

Is Help Possible?

Help has become a bad name in most people. If not all.

We don't think help is possible. Help is injurious. Or even worse, injure someone is a help. We make Self-reliance or Independence a virtue. We tell us that we are fine and we don't need help, but actually we mean the opposite and it indicates that we are afraid of help. Being helped and to help.

Throughout the years, the helps we ever received mostly, bar few, were of bad helps, they didn't improve the scenes but make them worse.

From the children's offered, yet clumsy, help when you were rush to get some thing done; the teenage' suggestions that may seem to be "too fashionable" to execute or cope with; the mental or general Dr's drugs or other treatments that made you even more depressed or ill; to the best friends' "for your own good" advices that turned your dreams and happiness off, yet you thanked them for being such a good pal for saving you from "dangers", but many years later you still think about that dream and cursed yourself for not doing it...

Of course, we must have received good helps throughout our lives as well, but they were relatively few compared to the failed helps or bad helps that we ever run across. And later were the ones that have made us a victim or disbeliever of help.

The whole operation is one of the traps in this society. You accidentally hurt someone, real or not, by helping them to begin with, and you felt obliged to help more as you felt have caused the damage. The person then identities help with injury. Then it goes further, help becomes betrayal, like in our modern psych industry. And here we go. This goes in both way.

I am sure you can see many occurrences like that in life around you.

Well, I know how that feel, and I know why some people would reject one's offered hand.

Fortunately, we can resolve this by sharing our experiences about help, both to help and being helped. If you are willing to, of course. Talk it up, you should feel better, I am sure.

I may seem talk a lot, but I am a good listener too. If you'd like to tell me how you feel about this subject of Help. I would be glad to listen. Either PM me or comments as below.
