A man gives an an angry diatribe about a woman he in a relationship with, ending in murder suicide.
Written for my video class which i hoped to direct.

FADE IN:

INT/ROOM – DAY.

A MAN sat at a table, his manner depressed. He pours sweet drink out the bottle in to a cup.

Man

(miserable and bitter)

Don’t respect kindness at all boy! Wickedness in that dog heart.

He raised cup off the table sipped, only to place it back down.

MAN

Did everything I could to help – lent you my textbook, you threw at me when I had to take it back; give you a little money I could spare. I would go right back to them after each breakup. Men are not the only dogs.

The man sips and puts it down.

Man

A time you telling a big man me, you would tell my parents, I made a mistake and didn’t walk out your stinking house. I was a child to you. I was soft. I remember a time I paid you the money to rent a house to do we thing.

He pours from a second bottle into the cup mixing with the sweet drink; his face makes a resolved expression and takes a long gulp not a sip.

Man

But when we clothes off and we on the bed you say you not doing anything. You can’t rule me! I put up my hard earned money and I wasn’t working at the time.

He suddenly falls to side as if about to lose consciousness from a drug, he regains his balance immediately, by grabbing the table so doesn’t fall, pulls himself upright on the chair and continues his diatribe.

Man

I stay away from you months, but like an impse, ah come back. You saw I was soft! The next breakup was when I told you I don’t have money to give.

Man pauses then goes on. The second bottle has written the side GRAMMOXONE. He turns his head. Slumped against the wall is the lifeless woman he closed off.

Man (cont)

Your ex man is not my business! You get cutlass for me. You thankless dog! Was a reason I try not to spend a dollar on you. Woman you feel you right but your own wrong you never see.

Man looks groggy from the poison, consciousness about to go.

Man

When they find both we bodies the truth will be for all to see.

He falls over on the table dead, the murder/ suicide done.

Well, that was certainly different, dreamscriber. It is very rare for me to read scripts at all. You seem to have done a good job with that moment in time.

My umteenth thanks. My description says my film desire for it but not the real life background that inspired. I made SPs of both novels and got another short I wanted to film.
A website 'script revolution' drove me to convert some other stories to SP. Can find them under the name, Keithon.
