Frankenstein

By sleight of hand,

by slip of lie,

you fed me some fallacy,

a life of a lie.

Taken in,

I morphed,

you created,

turned me in

to what I hated.

Life dripped away

at a steady pace,

until none was remaining,

not even a trace.

A metamorphosis

made complete

when death deserted me,

went in retreat.

And there you were,

a Viktor victorious,

while me, too broken

to even get furious.

Did you feel like a god

with the scene so created,

turning me to someone

so notoriously hated?

A monster you made,

from one already crashed;

that house of stricken cards

has totally smashed.
