A good conspiracy theorist can make you scratch your head and wonder, but I would have to say the evidence that men have walked on the moon is quite overwhelming. I initially wanted to write this essay as a point-by-point debunking of the major Moon Hoax claims, but I decided to instead focus on a single issue. It has been given to us by a young man from Australia named Jarrah White. He is the conspiracy theorist whom characterizes himself as “The Grandson of the Apollo Hoax Theory” (taking up after Bill Kaysing, whom wrote the 1974 book We Never Went to the Moon).

For context, a wonderful documentary called Lunar Legacy appeared on YouTube back in 2007, presenting a number of strong pieces of evidence in support of multiple landings on the moon, beginning with the property and behaviour of the lunar legorith (moon dust). --- The evidence was simply that all of the crisp and clear images of boot prints seen in the Apollo photos indicates that the surface dust was very fine, and should be seen to billow in the air when disturbed by the astronauts, the lunar rover, et cetera. However no dust clouds can be seen in the Apollo videos absolutely anywhere. Not long after the uploading of this first segment of Lunar Legacy, Jarrah White creates and uploads a video rebuttal.

What he says is absolutely amazing. He insists that all the Apollo photographs were taken at a completely different location than the Apollo videos! It is simple enough to understand, however: the photographs were taken on a “movie set” in which the moon dust is indeed a fine material, and the videos were taken from a set in which dry beach sand replaces the moon dust. The heavy sand, therefore, can be kicked around without creating tell-tale dust clouds indicating that an atmosphere was present when the video was shot. Mr. White goes further...

He claims that on the video set, NASA was very careful not to allow the video cameras to draw any attention to the astronauts feet, or the heavy sand would be revealed for what it really is. ---

But what I am about to say now is, for me, the ultimate proof that men have walked on the moon: detailed boot prints can indeed be seen created by the astronauts in the Apollo videos. The most damning example comes from the Hoaxers’ most prized video clip itself: “apollo 15 flag waving”. Just log that quote into the YouTube search bar and have a look for yourself.

For an added sentiment, there were more than 14 000 photographs taken during the Apollo missions. Faking them would have been really tough.
