I have to let go

I have to let go of the rage that only serves as a cage

The confinement of man's understanding within me

When all along, the Lord's is piercing through

I have to let go of the will to fight

I have to let the armor of tempered glass fall

To let the Armor of God ascend

For what I can not see now in action shall be sight

I have to let go of what purgatory I once never fought so well

That once endless torture of the body, mind, heart and soul has drifted to peace

That drop of blood alongside my cheek, my head and face was not because of me, but for someone else.

No more of deathblows, threats, screams, tears or fears

No more late night reprieves

I have to let go of death's door for friends never far away

I have to let go of a mother I never really knew

I have to let go of a family grieved and tempered

I have to let go of strangers all around

I have to let go of a world encased in frightening delight

I have to let go of the little boy that never was

I have to let go to care for those like me

I have to let go and give for the one unseen

What else is there to keep only if to have me further weep

I have to to let go in order to mourn and not be worn.

Don't you see, I have to let go or lose the best of why I am to be me.

So bare along side of me in the question, who do I hold my hands out to?

I found the answer.

Oh Joy!!!
