About to fall, I'm a puss on the edge of the world.

Turn to salute when the coward's flag is unfurled.

I was off the day bravery was handed out,

I'm not a brave soul, of that there's no doubt.

Hanging on to keep my balance, but it's all for naught,

The Courage Truck went on by in a rush, me, it forgot.

Others step up, I'm out of here, I turn and flee,

Yes, I'm less of a man than ever you'll see.

I'm a cheap tent in a hurricane, try to stay erect,

But I'm soon blown over, shredded, and wrecked.

Yes, I'm The Cowardly Lion on The Yellow Brick Road To Oz,

About the biggest fear-controlled puss that ever there was!
