Handprint scars across the body, penetrating to the internal organs,

A touch with high cytotoxicity, it causes near instantaneous necrosis.

Haemolacria, a crimson discharge leaves stains in the tear troughs,

Intravenous endorphin injection, the narcotic protected by a brain pocket.

Fingertips to the carotid, radial or femoral; palpitations signaling life,

Phlegm and irritated airways, make a maze for oxygen to reach the lungs.

Mayhem inside the immune system, as an infection invades the chest cavity,

Carnivore for sure, devouring everything in sight, darker circles and sunken eyes.

Becoming haphephobic, the best way to avoid contracting the same illness,

Yet hypothermia sets in, digits undergo cyanosis, without the warm touch of opposite sex.

In Between a rock and a hard place, Anubis on standby to weigh the pros and the cons,

Slowly asphyxiating, respiratory system narrowing with every single passing minute.
