In most countries in the world gun purchases are suficiant regulated, and thus gun crime is not a big problem. In countries like especially the U.S.A where guns are easier to purchase, the gun problem is greater. So, do we really need guns for a safer society?

The questions surronding gun control is pretty much a question between the U.S,A and the rest of the world. Not simply because the americans have the most guns, which they do, or the fact that contrary to other countries ordinary people can by assault rifles.

The second amendment of the american constitution is the source of todays politics. A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” It does clearly state that people making up a militia are allowed to bear arms. The second amendment is ment to protect the freedom of the state, not carrying a gun in peacetime. Quite a few americans do know this, certainly most politicians do. Still gun problem continues to be a very touchy subject. Someone wanting to be for example president can not ban firearms. It would be political suicide.

Americans are amongst the most vocal people when it comes to issues like freedom of speech, guns and equality. Still you see that a few big organisations control most of the media, and you got to be careful when voicing your opinion. If you are against gun control you are stupid, if you are for gun control you simply do not understand american society and culture.

School shootings, kids with guns and domestic violence ending in murder. Every country in the world have domestic violence, 99 % of the people do not have hand guns in their house. You want to tell me about one single country outside of USA where small kids kills their siblings by accident with a firearm? Good luck.

Lets begin with the basics. Since homo sapiens was hominids we have used weapons both for protection and hunting. The evolvement of weapons is the true reason why humans conquered the world. Further down the line thoose groups that had the newest technology ruled over other less advanced groups.

In the beginning the making of weapons happened more or less random. Someone discovered that you can pick up a stone and throw. Then you have a weapon. Customizing the piece of rock made it into ever evolving tools and weapons.  Same basically goes for sticks and other things we can find in Mother nature.

U.S.A is quite a weird country for us in the rest of the world. No doubt about that. The fighter for world peace, and at the same time the reason behind many conflicts. A country made by african slaves and forced labor from Asia. Police still treating black people like it`s 1955. 1955 in U.S.A that is. The latest "fun" thing the americans did was to elect Donald Trump. A man that himself said that he was not a politican. Nonetheless you voted for him. This would never happen in Europe. How can someone without political experience be on the same level as Merkel or Putin? Well, he is not. By all means, it is not his fault that people across the world are laughing at this. No, he just behaved crazy and hoped people would vote eitherway. Which you did. Not very smart to do someone stupid whilst being warned.

Nevermind that. The most puzzling thing about U.S.A is the relationship to guns. There are many countries in Europe with a lot of firearms, including mine. But very seldom do we here about a crime commited with a legal firearm. In those cases the guns comes either from Albania or U.S.A.
Guns do not kill people, people kill people. Stupid reasoning that to many believe to be true. Just look at cities like Los Angeles, Denver, Washigton and New Orleans. All with an annual killing rate higher than the scandinavian countries combined (in case you forgot: Scandinavia= Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland).

Right to protect yourself? All over the world people have the same basic human right to protect themselves against harm. But only in the U.S.A it`s ok to walk around with a firearm. How stupid is that? To me it would be a lot more scary to know that people around we have a gun, even if i too had one.

Gun control is not really a global problem, it is an american problem. Both domestically and abroad. It has said before, and it is still worth saying. Guns kill people. Ban guns for ordinary people, assault weapons should be for police and army only.

U.S.A. - Great people, poor decisions. Learn from Europe.
