For it was as usual, her so casual reach going forth once more. Done while never looking, it was long ago that on yet another ordinary and unseeing day she suffered a bee's sting.

Feeling the throbbing burn penetrating, going deep, she finally took notice. Gazing about, for the first time she saw and asked herself what is life.

Staring down, it was in her dying and buzzing concern that she heard her say, "sorry for the pain...nothings personal...and we always hope to fly again."

With aching hand she went home to the hive, the place where all are most certainly welcomed and meant to thrive. Yet she returned without really knowing why.

In her bed that night her now restless mind took flight. She entered a dream of flower fields filled with shades and colors of every imagined hue. In the background she spied fruit laden trees becoming in full spring melding by flowing stream side.

And there she was, never gone, landing upon a blossom continuing on without pause.

And once again she spoke to her from across the breeze blown meadow, "fly forever honey...and always into tomorrow."
