Scars or Stars?

Lying in the bed, I'm counting my scars
Why do they shine brighter than stars?

Carved in the darkest hour of gloom,
They are so delicate, just like a bloom!

Scars or stars, they are wonders of art,
I carry them on my skin, let go the heart

Scars are tender and wonderfully gentle,
But, Don't go deeper, it's all sentimental

Shining brighter but it's a dark fantasy,
All Butterflies are dead, that I can see

They breathed the shadows that you left,
And, All of it is buried deep in my chest

Though my modest soul lost all the wars,
But I don't care, I wear my scars as stars!

Interesting poem. Sorta reminds me of a poem I wrote recently. It's called "Prudence." I think I will share it soon.
