Say Cheese

I was born to fill up your lungs and mend your heart,
but I am trapped in your dungeon, being kept apart.

Light shines through the window, air flows with mallow,
I see no darkness that deserves you feeling sorrow.

Life isn't calm and has made love no more a thing to trust
Politicians are con and eventually will turn Earth into dust.

You may feel like a spinning leaf blown along a dirty street;
or a puny grain of sand stuck under one's feet;

No one says our journey will be free of pebbles;
yet there are still flowers blossoming with petals.

Many a moon ago when I first met and kissed you,
your eyes were luminous without hues of blue.

Your face was beaming with joy, what a sight to see,
I wonder, have you since only seen the colors of Black Sea?

I am here to cheer you up and strengthen your heart,
please free me from your dungeon, take me as your part.

When you're beaten down, be brave to conjure me up;
Just say Cheese, till all your cells and hairs stand yup.

Like a bubble I flow up, bubbling, bobbling, bo.
Together, I hear your heart pop and sing "Ho, Ho, Ho."

"Hello, ladies and gents, and yes, that include you.
I am smile, name Cheese. It's nice to meet you too."
