I can’t believe I’m in this dusty old chest,

Let me tell you, it’s not the best.

I’ve been in here for a million years,

And have shed plenty of tears,

Just because no one has played with me for all this time.

A little girl used to play with me,

I’ve known her since she was three,

But now she’s grown up and lets me be.

I’m quite lonely even with the rest of the toys,

I just want to make some noise.

I just hope someday a child will open up this chest,

And they will be blessed,

And I can rest knowing I’ve made a new friend.
