This is...yeah, I don't know. A poem about a girl standing in a lake watching a forest fire, I guess.

Stars shine bright

Not as bright as this

Sky was dark

Not anymore

No more peace

No more night

Only flames

They reach for the moon

Twisting, winding

Like a noose around every tree

From the water she watches

The fire envelope the world

And the lake!

No longer is it cool and quiet

Blue and sweet

Now it is a mirror of fire

The orange, the red

They dance upon the ripples

Staining it

She can feel the warmth on her face

Feel the smoke sting her eyes

And the water, all around her

The water of gold
