Preserving nature, and falling in love, my painting "Heron Sunrise"

Sunrise, the orange glow, from early purple ripples flow.

A shorebird hunting, walking slow,

Makes strides across this beach you know.

Many times you've walked it, while sinking in the sand,

Until you reach the waters edge and stand upright again.

The gulls all squalk competing there,

for scraps of bread thrown in the air.

A fisherman who's chest is bare, is sweating, casting his net where,

A multitude of finger mullet, will soon be going down the gullet,

Of larger fish, who unaware, will soon be served up with a pear.

The track of turtles,  who made their nest,

Have left their mark, and dragged their chest,

Across the sandy beaches where,

we sit and watch the sun appear.

The smell of salty ocean air, gets caught up in your curls of hair,

Where later, when I'm kissing you,

I smell again our interlude.

Where among creation we did this,

And fell in love, with our first kiss.

This really is a romantic piece. You did a great job at setting the scene.

Nope, acrylic on canvas.
All the paintings I use are my work.

Due to health reasons I have turned my
Attention to writing and doing smaller paintings.
